Our school uniform is a reflection of Holy Family Catholic Primary School and as such, all children are expected to wear it, as we believe this creates a sense of community and belonging.

Nursery school uniform

• Maroon track bottoms.
• Maroon sweatshirt with Holy Family Crest
• White polo shirt with Holy Family crest
• Wellington boots
• Grey socks for boys / white socks for girls
• Appropriate black footwear (no crocs for safety reasons)
• Coat – black or maroon
• School book bag: maroon with Holy Family crest

Reception school uniform

• Trousers/skirts/pinafore dresses – grey
• White polo tops with Holy Family crest
• Maroon cardigan or pullover with Holy Family crest
• Grey socks for boys / maroon or grey tights or white socks for girls.
• Appropriate black footwear - no boots (ie. footwear that is on or above the ankle) or branded trainers.
• Coat – black or maroon
• School book bag: maroon with Holy Family crest.

Year 1 upwards

• Trousers/skirts/pinafore dresses – grey.
• White shirts/blouses (long or short sleeved).
• Holy Family tie - elasticated for KS1 and traditional tie for KS2.
• Maroon cardigan or pullover with Holy Family crest.
• Grey socks for boys / maroon or grey tights or white socks for girls.
• Appropriate black footwear - no boots (ie. Footwear that is on or above the ankle) or branded trainers.
• Coat – black or maroon or Holy Family fleece (this is for outdoor use on top of a pullover or cardigan)
• School book bag: maroon with Holy Family crest for years R to 2
• School rucksack bag for KS2 with Holy Family Crest.

Alternative summer uniform
(N.B. the summer uniforms can be worn from the start of Summer Term until October half-term only)

• Red checked dresses to be worn with socks.
• Grey shorts
• Summer jacket – black or maroon or Holy Family fleece.

P.E. Kits

• Black plimsolls or appropriate sports trainers for Year R to 2
• Appropriate sports trainers for KS2.
• Maroon P.E. shorts
• White t-shirt with Holy Family crest
• Maroon sweatshirt with Holy Family crest
• Maroon track bottoms
• Maroon P.E. bag

Please note:

• Hats, scarves and gloves must be black or maroon.
• All hairwear must be black or maroon. Hair accessories should not be ostentatious.
• All items must be clearly labelled with your child's name.
• The only jewellery permitted to be worn in school are small stud earrings. No jewellery should be worn for PE. During these lessons earrings need to be removed or covered up. Parents are requested to have their children’s ears pierced during the summer break to ensure earrings can be removed when required.
• Extreme hairstyles are not permitted.
