Dear Parents/guardians,

After the Half Term, the children will be learning about Eucharistic adoration. This term refers to the adoration of the Holy Eucharist, Body and Blood of Jesus Christ. There will be particular focus on the monstrance, which holds the consecrated Host.

There are two parts to this homework:

1. Research - in order to help answer the 2 questions.
2. Design – beautifully decorating the sheet given or creating their own monstrance from whatever materials possible.

Father Neil has also kindly helped us make a KS1 appropriate video regarding the monstrance. The video outlines the Monstrance’s purpose and what it helps us to remember. This video can be found on the Year 1 School website (please see link below).
