Children at Holy Family regularly participate in a wide variety of musical performances and concerts, including the following:
- Annual Christmas and Spring school choir concerts with other local primary schools at St. Barnabas' Church, Pitshanger Lane, Ealing;
- An end of year instrumental concert to parents and pupils in the school hall;
- Singing in class assemblies to an audience of parents and the rest of the school;
- Participating in the annual Sing Up Day, this year on March 11th;
- Singing at school Masses and the Blessed Sacrament procession;
- Singing at Christmas performances, including nativity plays for EYFS and KS1 and an evening carol service for KS2;
- Competing in the Westfield Christmas Choir competition;
- The choir sing at various parish liturgies, including the parish carol service and first holy communions;
- The choir sing at the school Christmas Fair;
- An Easter passion play led by the year 5 classes;
- The Year 4 classes have a weekly singing lesson with Miss Penny. This year the theme is learning and composing songs about the Creation. They will perform these at a concert with other schools.
- The Year 6s present a leavers' musical at the end of the school year; our inaugural production, "Mary Poppins", took place in July 2019.
- A new initiative this year is a musical evening organised by the Friends of Holy Family, where children perform an instrumental piece or sing a song of their choice to a friendly audience.
