The Pupil Premium grant is used to provide additional support in order to improve the progress and to raise the standard of achievement for eligible pupils. The funding issued is to narrow and close the gap between the achievement of these pupils and their peers. The school will use this additional funding to address any underlying inequalities between children eligible for Pupil Premium funding and others. This will vary depending on the individual circumstances and needs of the child.
In 2024-25 schools are allocated £1,480 per pupil for children from low-income families who were eligible for free school meals and £2,570 per pupil for ‘looked-after’ children.
Please read the information below which gives details of our Pupil Premium Grant and how we allocate the funding.
