Read to your child.

Listen to your child read.

Comment and question your child.

Homework completed using correct handwriting (as independently as possible).

Spellings – Look, cover, write, check.

Encourage reading for pleasure

Please ensure you read every day with your child and sign the reading record. Books will be changed once a week. Children’s books must be in school everyday. When the teacher assesses that the level has been achieved the child will progress to the next level.
