Welcome to Year 3!
We hope that you all had a fantastic summer break. The children have only been back a few days and yet they have learnt so much already. They have revised lots from last term and are already learning lots of new concepts.
This term promises to be an exciting and fun time for the children with lots of engaging learning opportunities.
3B and 3V have their class assemblies to look forward to in the New Year and we hope to see as many of you as possible at these fantastic displays of the children's work. A reminder that parents are invited to our whole school Achievement Assemblies on Friday afternoons at 2:40pm in the school hall. Children receiving certificates are always excited to see their parents/carers attending for their moment of glory.
As the children are now in Key Stage two, there is an additional expectation that they are able to work more independently to remember their homework tasks. Homework is set each Wednesday and should be returned to school the following Monday. Where possible, the children should complete these tasks on their own to develop their own sense of responsibility, taking a great a great pride in their work.
At Holy Family we do our best for the glory of God.
