Homework Wednesday 6th January 2021
This week we have set additional homework for Year 6 to help consolidate learning of the decimals topic taught online. We have also set grammar activities to support your learning of using punctuation for parenthesis.
This week you have been set five pieces of homework comprising of the following:
1. One Math task on My Maths.
2. Reading task (myOn)
3. Spellings to memorise and build sentences with. (See spelling document uploaded)
4. A grammar exercise to consolidate your learning of using punctuation for parenthesis
5. Maths worksheets: Multiplying decimals by 10, 100, 1000 (The worksheets uploaded have been labelled A, B, C - just as they are in Maths lessons. Choose the activity that is most appropriate for you.)

This week we will be using the following website to complete reading at home: https://www.myon.co.uk
Please see letters that were emailed to you by your class teacher detailing access information and login details. You can view the book assigned to you in your 'classroom.' This week, you are invited to read 'Countries around the World: Mexico.' This reading will help you discover more about Mexico and may help with the tasks that we have set you in Topic.
We will also be asking you at the end of some of the online lessons to continue reading chapters of Holes, which will prepare you for the following lessons.
