Your book for this week is called ‘Moon Over the Mountain / Luna sobre la montana’ from the website Get Epic. This is a lovely book which has the added benefit of allowing you to practise your Spanish. We would like you to read this book of poems and then complete the quiz at the end.

Writing

Option 1: Imagine you are Agipito, what wish would you ask the Spirit of the Desert for and why? Try using a Spanish dictionary to replace some of the English nouns in your story with Spanish nouns.

Option 2: Consider the message and meaning behind this story. Are there any other stories you have read which have a similar storyline? Compare and contrast both stories. What are the similarities between both stories? What are the differences?
