Mandalas are geometric symbols. They are used as part of traditions, spiritual guidance and meditation. Mandalas often consist of symmetrical patterns and designs making them very pleasing to the eye.
This week, we would like you to go foraging in your garden or local park as you gather leaves, twigs, stones and petals. Petals should only be used with permission. Arrange these into circular and symmetrical designs creating your very own patterns. Use a range of colours and make these stand out against a plain background (paper/card/earth). We want the vibrancy of nature to pop against your background as your mandalas come to life.
Take photos of your mandala designs and give them meaning.
For example, you mandala might symbolize peace, prosperity, love, unity etc…..
We’d love to see your designs so get creating!
